SÍMBOLOS EN POESÍA

In this short response, Quinn describes the symbolism found in the different poems that were studied in class and how they contribute to the main idea of the poems.

LO QUE SUCEDIÓ A UN MOZO QUE CASÓ CON UNA MUCHACHA DE MUY MAL CARÁCTER

In this short essay, Quinn summarizes an incident told in the story "Lo que sucedió a un mozo que casó con una muchacha de muy mal carácter" by don Juan Manuel.  

LA NOCHE BOCA ARRIBA

The story "La noche boca arriba" by Julio Cortázar is about a man that is living in two very different worlds.  In this short essay, Quinn looks at the different points of contact and similarities between those two worlds and the protagonist.

EL CENSO COMEDIA

"El censo Comedia" tells the story of a group of women running an undocumented sewing shop and their run-in with a census taker. Here, Quinn writes about how the author Emilio Carballido uses satire in the work.

ROMANCE DEL CONDE ARNALDOS

"Romance del conde Arnaldos" tells the story of a man that sees a fantastic boat being manned by a man singing an unknown song.  In this composition, Quinn describes how this work fits the definition of a "romance".
